What is the Solar Slice?

The Solar Slice is a sustainability surcharge — just $1 or 1.5% added to every ticket — that funds science-backed climate and nature projects. Built into the ticket price before they go on sale, the Solar Slice creates a dedicated sustainability budget line in your event planning. Every ticket sold builds a lasting environmental legacy.

Who can use it?

Anyone that sells tickets to an event. Touring artists, festivals, sports competitions, fun runs. If it’s ticketed, you can Solar Slice it.

What does it fund?

Your Solar Slice fuels a tailored program of impact — at your event or in the wider community. We design projects that:

  • Deliver science-backed outcomes for climate and biodiversity

  • Align with the sustainability priorities and passions of your team.

  • Deliver real, measurable results.

Why it matters.

When humans gather — for music, art, sport, or culture — it’s electric. These moments shape lives and communities.

But the reality is that live events leave a real footprint on the planet, and with the climate and biodiversity crises accelerating, every industry needs to evolve — fast.

The Solar Slice turns every ticket into an agent of change; energising a collective wave of impact to restore nature, cut emissions, and build a future where live experiences don’t cost the earth.
