Privacy Policy
FEAT. Initiative is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1998 (Cth). This Privacy Policy outlines our current policies and practices concerning the handling and use of personal information, including how to lodge a complaint about a breach of privacy laws and how to access and correct the personal information we hold.
What Information Do We Collect and How Do We Use It?
When you participate in our anonymous online survey, we collect data necessary to inform the research we are conducting. The information we collect is used solely for statistical purposes and to provide de-identified statistical information for our final report. This study will help determine whether a Mutual would be viable for the festival industry. At no time are you required to identify the name of your festival or your contact details.
Anonymous Data
We use technology to collect anonymous information about your participation. For example, our service provider logs your server address, the date and time of your participation, and the type of browser used. This information does not identify you personally and is used only for statistical purposes.
Forms
Our activities involve submitting information via self-service forms (e.g., surveys, contact requests). The information submitted is not encrypted and is stored in a database accessible only by our staff (password protected).
Transfer of Personal Information Overseas
Some of the third-party service providers holding the personal information collected in this survey are located outside Australia in countries with privacy legislation that meets the standards of privacy laws in Australia. By consenting to the disclosure of your personal information to these entities outside Australia, you acknowledge that we will no longer be required to take reasonable steps to ensure that the overseas recipient does not breach the applicable privacy principles of the Privacy Act 1988.
By accepting this privacy policy, you consent to such overseas disclosure.
How Do We Hold and Protect Your Information?
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected or to comply with any applicable legal or ethical reporting or document retention requirements.
We ensure your information is safe by protecting it from unauthorized access, modification, and disclosure. We maintain computer and network security using firewalls and other security systems like user identifiers and passwords to control access to computer systems.
Will We Disclose the Information We Collect to Anyone?
We do not sell, trade, or rent your information to others.
We may provide your information to others if we are required to do so by law or under some unusual other circumstances permitted by the Privacy Act.
How Can You Check, Update, or Change the Information We Are Holding?
Upon receipt of your written request and enough information to allow us to identify the information, we will disclose to you the information we hold about you. We will also correct, amend, or delete any information we agree is inaccurate. Participation in this study is entirely voluntary and you may withdraw from the study at any time.
If you wish to access or correct your information, or withdraw from the study, please write to our team at InsuranceStudy@feat.ltd.
